The 2024 Sentra Receives Sporty Refresh and Technology Boost

Nissan has announced that the next generation of the Sentra will receive a refresh to the exterior, an improvement in fuel efficiency, and added premium features to the SV trim.

The Sentra has been a staple in Nissan’s lineup since 1982, previously branded as the Nissan Sunny or the Nissan Sylphy. The sedan has undergone dozens of redesigns, but each one gets better and better. Let’s look at what’s changed for the 2024 model.

New Year, New Look

The last notable redesigns were for the 2016 and 2020 models, so the new design for the 2024 model is very exciting.

The major new design change is to the front exterior fascia and headlights with black interior bezel elements as well as the design for the wheels. The grille is now more subtle and similar to the front of the 2023 Altima.

The SR is the Sentra’s top trim and received the most updates for the 2024 model. The SR model received an extra update to the rear fascia and a new interior accent stitching color. The new fascia is lower, making the Sentra look wider and lower. The interior stitching is updated to a red-orange color like other Nissan Models.

New Technology in a Timeless Model

The engine gets a boost with the new Xtronic CVT, designed to reduce fuel usage while shifting smoother. And with the newly added Idle Stop and Start, the 2024 Sentra has improved fuel efficiency. And don’t forget about the Eco Mode, which allows the engine to get premium fuel efficiency.

The SV Preiumum package now includes the Intelligent Around View Monitor, 8 Premium Audio Bose Speakers, and the exterior mirrors have turn signal indicators. And the SR trim now has standard heated front seats.
